Projects We Love‍

TraceAir is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we're proud of the innovative and exciting projects we are working on near home. We love how these projects are transforming their sites to meet current and future needs, while still paying homage to their respective histories.

1. Pier 70

Once the site of a shipbuilding yard, Brookfield Properties is transforming Pier 70 into a 28-acre mixed-use development. The project includes residential, office, retail, restaurants, and creative maker spaces.

This project includes the renovation of a historic building previously used for ship repair and construction during World War II. In order to accommodate sea level rise, the project team lifted the building 10 feet.

2. Treasure / Yerba Buena Islands Development‍

Providing approximately 8,000 much-needed housing units, this project sits on two adjoined islands in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. The islands are connected to the city by the Bay Bridge.

This project creates an entirely new neighborhood of San Francisco on a former military base (Treasure Island) once used by the US Navy.

3. Doyle Drive Rehabilitation‍

Boasting incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge, this 21-acre project includes earthwork, utilities, landscaping, and other site work, which completes the transformation from Doyle Drive to the Presidio Parkway.

Did we mention the view? The project also extends the Presidio trails over the tunnel, creating more recreation space.

4. The Emory Apartments

‍Not just another apartment complex, this project is situated on the Sherwin Williams Paint Factory site in Emeryville, CA. Long-term Bay Area residents will remember the "Cover the Earth" sign that acted as a local landmark for decades.

Projects that maintain history are awesome. This development preserves one of the original factory structures, which is one of the last historic brick facade buildings in Emeryville.

5. Mission Rock

‍This mixed-use development will transform a massive parking lot into a new neighborhood on San Francisco's waterfront across from the ballpark.
