Stormwater Drainage & Slope Reports
See where water will pool, before it rains.
Every drone scan becomes a depth-mapped view of your site — surfacing closed depressions, detecting slope compliance, and any deviation from design grade. Built for proactive planning, faster issue resolution, and smoother coordination.

The problem
Drainage problems stay invisible until they get expensive.
By the time water is standing on your site, the grading crew has demobilized, materials are sitting in a mud bath, and the cheapest window to fix it has already closed.
Rework after demobilization
A low spot found on a site walk is found late. Bringing the grading crew back is the most expensive way to move dirt you already paid to move once.
SWPPP exposure and ruined material
Stockpiles and lumber sitting in a closed depression will become a mud bath in the next storm — and a potential violation you did not see coming.
Disputes with no clear record
Every handoff is a place for finger-pointing when nobody has clear documentation of what the site actually looked like, when.
Closed Depressions Report
Every low spot on the site, ranked by how deep the water gets.
The Closed Depressions Report is a powerful visual tool that pinpoints low areas with no natural outlets or installed drainage, where stormwater is likely to accumulate. Color-coded by depth, this report offers a quick, intuitive overview of flood risks, clearly highlighting areas that may need further attention.
- Depth-based heat map across the whole site, not just where someone thought to look
- Useful at rough grade, during utilities, and after vertical construction
- Scan across your entire portfolio to triage risk before the next storm

Slope Reports
Slope compliance on every lot, without walking any of them.
The Slope Report measures gradients along the trajectories that actually matter on your site: lot boundaries, pad to front of lot, front of lot to curb, driveways and roads. Actual slope sits next to design slope, with direction arrows — because a driveway at the right gradient in the wrong direction is still a problem.
- Measurement trajectories configured per project to ensure individual HOA slope compliance
- Spot elevations at lot corners, pad corners, or center against design grade
- Download every lot as an Excel report for contractors who are not in TraceAir

Lot Viewer
Find the lots out of tolerance, then build the punch list.
Click into any lot for its slopes, cut and fill balance, and spot elevations against design. Flag what is wrong, save the view as an interactive exhibit with your comments, and send it to the contractor who has to fix it. When the next scan lands, switch surfaces and confirm it actually got fixed.
- Cut and fill balance, slope, and spot elevation measured per lot, in cubic yards
- Custom filters to isolate the lots that still need work to better manage resources and contractor time
- Interactive exhibits with commenting and markups, shareable with anyone

See It In Action
From the field
“I used to walk the entire site by hand just to make sure I hadn’t missed a low spot before our stormwater report went out. Now the heat map shows me exactly where water’s pooling in minutes, not hours.”
TraceAir User, Land Development Manager
Diagnose it, document it, hand it off.
Seeing the puddle is the easy part. These are the tools that tell you where it will be, what it will cost, and who needs to fix it.
Compare surfaces
Compare the real-life surface of your project to design grade to spot cut/fill needs quickly. Red for what needs to be removed and blue for what is still missing.
Plan overlays
Your construction drawings sit on top of the scan. Check whether the catch basin that would drain a low spot is designed, installed, or neither, before you escalate.
Cross sections
Cut a profile through any zone and read the terrain against design grade. Confirms which way the ground is actually falling and where the drainage stops working.
Markup and collaboration
Comment, draw, and highlight directly on the site. Flag concerns, assign next steps, and coordinate the fix with contractors in one shared workspace.
Shareable exhibits
Save any view with its annotations as a standalone exhibit for inspectors, consultants, and internal review.
Time-stamped record
Every scan is a dated record of site conditions. Useful for crew-to-crew handoffs, HOA turnover, and any dispute that surfaces two years later.
