Happy Valentine's Day! We truly love being a part of the construction and tech industries. Getting to know our clients, learning about their pain points, and helping them to find ways to improve is our passion. Today we are sharing a few of our favorite projects and "love notes."
Bridgeland Master-Planned Community

Bridgeland is a master planned community of luxury homes, apartments, commercial and retail properties in Cypress, Texas. With more than 3,000 acres dedicated to lakes, trails and parks, Bridgeland seamlessly blends nature into residents’ daily lives. This community was designed to conserve and enhance the natural environment, with existing lakes and creeks incorporated into the plan as unique amenities. Parks and green space can be found no more than a quarter mile from each homesite and are connected through the community’s vast trail system.
After about a month of them actually using TraceAir, they were surprised how easy it is to use and how quick and relevant it is. It’s a fantastic tool because it’s so simple.”
— Mark Gehringer, Vice President of Land Development, The Howard Hughes Corporation
Quilici Development

We love a good challenge and this job site's diverse terrain definitely presented one. At over 1,000 acres, this job site has snowy mountain tops, rough desert terrain, and everything in between.
TraceAir empowers me as a project manager to take control and hold my contractors and engineers accountable. All the people I work with on my jobs, whether they're moving dirt or creating spreadsheets, absolutely love it.”
— PJ Stambaugh, Land Development Manager, Toll Brothers
Pier 70 Redevelopment

Once the site of a shipbuilding yard, Brookfield Properties is transforming Pier 70 into a 28-acre mixed-use development. The project includes residential, office, retail, restaurants, and creative maker spaces. This project includes the renovation of a historic building previously used for ship repair and construction during World War II. In order to accommodate sea level rise, the project team lifted the building 10 feet.
In essence, TraceAir is an effective communication tool for developers, general contractors, and the entire project team."
— David Greenstein, Sr. Project Manager, Brookfield Properties
Alameda Marina

The Alameda Marina Development is reimagining and redeveloping the Alameda Marina into a vibrant and accessible mixed-use commercial and residential property that includes 760 housing units, 150,000 square feet of commercial space, 104 permanently affordable housing units, 529 boat slips, and 3.45 acres of parks.
TraceAir gives us visibility into how our projects are progressing, so we can spend less time on routine site inspections and more time focusing on helping our builders solve problems."
— Jeff Brouellette, Principal, Arroyo Capital
Treasure / Yerba Buena Islands Development

Providing approximately 8,000 much-needed housing units, this project sits on two adjoined islands in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. The islands are connected to the city by the Bay Bridge. This project creates an entirely new neighborhood of San Francisco on a former military base (Treasure Island) once used by the US Navy.
“We pull up TraceAir for almost every meeting because the picture is much more accurate than looking at the plan. TraceAir aids the conversation and usually makes things go a little faster because everybody’s looking at the same thing.”
— Kelly Stockton, Senior Project Manager, Plant Construction
Doyle Drive Rehabilitation

Boasting incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge, this 21-acre project includes earthwork, utilities, landscaping, and other site work, which completes the transformation from Doyle Drive to the Presidio Parkway. Did we mention the view? The project also extends the Presidio trails over the tunnel, creating more recreation space.
The ability to have a real-time photo of what your site conditions are, no matter how big or small the site is, is incredibly valuable. It's really beneficial for logistics, tracking patterns, coordinating how resources are moved around the site, and being able to communicate with everybody when things are changing."
— James Elliott, Project Manager, Plant Construction
Skyline Ranch

When Pardee Homes, a subsidiary of Tri Pointe, opened its Skyline Ranch grading project to bids, most contractors believed the project was beyond their capacity to handle. For the hilly 500-acre site, the developer wanted 25M cy of contract cut moved in just 16 months. Learn more about how this aggressive schedule was achieved using TraceAir.
In the beginning with such a complex project, our goal was to finish on time and on budget. Halfway through the grading operations, we became confident that with TraceAir, our team would meet and exceed these goals. We completed the grading ahead of schedule and under budget."
— Dave Little, Division President, LA/Ventura, Pardee Homes
When we started to use TraceAir and realized how user-friendly and accurate it was, we relied on it a lot more and benefited from it significantly. Unlike other software in the industry, TraceAir puts data analytics in the hands of field managers. So, now we do many tasks that were previously done at the office, including measurements.”
— Mike Jensen, Foreman, Independent Construction Company
