Feedback you can trust

Hear straight from top Texas developers why they choose TraceAir.
“TraceAir saves me an entire trip every week to my projects. Whether I’m at home or in the office, I can easily check progress, conduct measurements, and see what’s going on with our grading and utilities. Not only does this save me time on the road, but also allows me to make the best use of my time when I am on site.”

Beazer Homes, Houston
“So far, we’ve moved about 500,000 cubic yards of dirt. TraceAir has drastically improved our ability to monitor volumes and manage mass grading, We avoid unexpected dirt imports or exports and keep our contractors accountable with the accurate data we get from TraceAir.”

“One of my favorite things about TraceAir is being able to track all of our projects from our office instead of driving all over the metroplex. Nothing replaces getting boots on the ground, but when you can’t be in 15 places at once, TraceAir gives you an easy, one-stop way to see exactly what’s happening on every site.“
Patrick Cowden
Director of Development,
Hillwood Communities, DFW
“TraceAir provides our whole team: investors, contractors, purchasing, land development and vertical construction with accurate insights, making collaboration seamless and ensuring everyone is aligned on real progress. It’s an absolute necessity for me and our team.“
Bobby Shields
Director of Construction,
Treehouse Builders, Princeton
“I can upload any file, overlay it, and use measuring tools to pinpoint exact locations. It’s so much faster and more precise. For example, with our sewer service plans, instead of staking every service manually, we simply upload the file into TraceAir and measure where each service should start. This saves significant time and ensures accuracy for our contractors.“
Nipun Gadhok
Director of Development,
The Nehemiah Company, DFW
“TraceAir allows us to see problems before they happen, so we can get ahead of them before they become costly or affect our schedule. The results we've experienced from TraceAir have exceeded our expectations. I strongly encourage giving TraceAir a try.“

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the product and billing.
What do I need to get started with TraceAir?
Start with a quick demo. We’ll discuss your specific projects and challenges, show how it works, and outline the workflow. When you’re ready, we handle a simple project setup so your team can begin scanning and reviewing in TraceAir right away.
Is TraceAir expensive?
Pricing scales with project size and scan frequency; it can be as lean or as comprehensive as you need. No job is too small or too large to benefit from TraceAir. The cost of not using TraceAir is what gets expensive: missed dirt balance, rework, delays, and change-order disputes add up fast. Think of it like insurance that pays for itself, by catching issues early and aligning pay apps to real quantities, most teams see immediate ROI on the first project.
Do I need to own a drone?
Nope! We work with local, licensed pilots to fly your site. If you have an internal or contracted pilot, we can process their data into the TraceAir platform.
How many licenses are included?
Unlimited. We don’t charge per seat, so everyone involved—field, office, subs, consultants—can access the same source of truth.
Is TraceAir useful if my grading contractor is on a lump-sum contract?
Yes, most of our customers use lump sum contracts with their grading contractors. TraceAir helps prevent project delays, ensure billing accuracy, and save money on consultants.
How does TraceAir help Texas developers working with MUDs?
TraceAir helps developers within MUDs streamline formation, accelerate construction, and maintain compliance with TCEQ requirements. Developers use TraceAir’s aerial scans, overlays, and historical archive to plan precisely, track dirt quantities, and document progress from petition to reimbursement. With unlimited user licenses, engineers, contractors, and MUD board members share a single, unified source of truth—reducing delays and improving coordination. Because TraceAir directly supports the construction phase, costs may be eligible for MUD reimbursement.
Can TraceAir work on wooded or partially cleared Texas sites?
Absolutely. Our LiDAR options capture accurate topography even through tree cover or rough terrain, giving teams an early look at elevation and drainage patterns before full clearing.
How does TraceAir help manage Texas’ varied soil conditions?
Across Texas, soil conditions vary widely—from expansive clays in Houston to rocky limestone in Hill Country and sandy loam in North Texas. TraceAir keeps teams ahead with tools for tracking grading progress, monitoring cut/fill balance, and verifying pad elevations.
